With a long history in youth competition, Gwaii United FC was revitalized in 2024 by a newly-formed senior men's squad entering the Prince Rupert Seafest Tournament.

• Stads K'un The Goshawk - the "National Bird of Haida Gwaii" is a fierce ambush-hunter known for it's extreme speed and agility maneuvering around trees in pursuit of a wide variety of prey. Like the people of the island, they have evolved to become a distinct subspecies after years of isolation.
• Eastbound canoe with 11 paddlers, representing the cooperation of the 11 players on the football pitch as we head into enemy territory on the mainland.
• Yahguudang-Yakuudang Respect - Simple motto adopted from the GKNSS Boys Soccer teams in the 2000's under famed coach Luu Kevin Borserio.
